Morcello, Linguica, Chourico and Hoo’s on First

While researching an answer to the question, what is morcello (my guess was Portuguese version of morcilla or blood sausage) – a round of applause for my good sense guess…

I found this company:

chouriço

linguiça

morcello

Mello’s has an interesting product mix. I can honestly say it’s the first time I’ve seen chow mein on the same product page with blood sausage and chouriço. The name of the odd man out? “Hoo Mee” – indeed!

If you’re in the ocean state and hankering for a chili dog or a little poetry, stop by Ben’s Chili Dogs:

Doc and the birthday boy!

Coffee milk, a Rhode Island Favorite is on the menu.

This poet gives away his poems, a booklet entitled Ballast.

Gerald F. Beinvenue poet and excellent chili dog purveyor. A good dog, coffee milk and poetry: that’s a good day.
