Am I just that good?
I’m known for saying “If I didn’t have bad timing, I’d have no timing at all.” And generally, my timing is not great. Like when I jumped into the startups – just before the bust. Or, when I almost moved to NYC before meeting my husband here in Boston.
But once in a while, I get it right. I wrote about o-makase dining and highlighted Hiroko Shimbo, the James Beard award-winning author of The Japanese Kitchen and The Sushi Experience.
I wrote about it last night. Today I learn that, beginning in January, Cooking classes will be offered at the Fairmont Copley hotel here in Boston. The first featured chef? Hiroko Shimbo.
I know, it’s not really about me. It’s about the cooking, the author, the classes coming up at the Fairmont Copley. But at least for now, it looks like I’ve got impeccable timing.
